レベル：DELE A2〜B1
「東京はマドリードより大きい」「このルートが一番きつい」「彼は私と同じくらい速い」。ものを比べる表現は、DELEの作文・会話で2つの選択肢を比較して意見を述べる時に欠かせません。
英語の more… than / as… as / the most と対応させると一気に整理できます。日本語訳と英語訳を並べて見ていきましょう。

1. 優等比較・劣等比較
1. más + adjetivo + que（〜より…だ / more… than / -er than）
例文
- Tokio es más grande que Madrid.
🇯🇵 東京はマドリードより大きい。
🇬🇧 Tokyo is bigger than Madrid. - Esta ruta es más dura que la de ayer.
🇯🇵 このルートは昨日のより厳しい。
🇬🇧 This route is harder than yesterday’s.
2. menos + adjetivo + que（〜ほど…ではない / less… than）
例文
- El tren es menos cómodo que el avión.
🇯🇵 電車は飛行機ほど快適ではない。
🇬🇧 The train is less comfortable than the plane.
3. más de + número（〜以上（数量） / more than + number）
例文
- Hicimos más de cien kilómetros.
🇯🇵 100キロ以上走った。
🇬🇧 We did more than a hundred kilometres.
💡 数字の前は que ではなく de
比べる相手の前は que ですが、数字の前は de：más de cien personas（100人以上）。DELEの文法問題で狙われやすいポイントです。
Use “de”, not “que”, before numbers: más de cien.
2. 不規則な比較級

💡 más bueno とは言わない
「より良い」は más bueno ではなく mejor。英語で more good と言わないのと同じです。
Just like English “better” (not “more good”), Spanish uses “mejor”.
3. 同等比較
1. tan + adjetivo + como（〜と同じくらい…だ / as… as）
例文
- Mi hermano es tan alto como yo.
🇯🇵 兄は私と同じくらい背が高い。
🇬🇧 My brother is as tall as me. - No es tan difícil como parece.
🇯🇵 見た目ほど難しくない。
🇬🇧 It’s not as difficult as it looks.
2. tanto/a/os/as + sustantivo + como（〜と同じくらいの（量の）… / as much / many… as）
例文
- No tengo tanto tiempo como antes.
🇯🇵 前ほど時間がない。
🇬🇧 I don’t have as much time as before. - Hay tantas bicis como coches.
🇯🇵 車と同じくらい自転車がある。
🇬🇧 There are as many bikes as cars.
3. verbo + tanto como（〜と同じくらい（動詞）する / as much as）
例文
- Ahora no entreno tanto como el año pasado.
🇯🇵 今は去年ほどトレーニングしていない。
🇬🇧 I don’t train as much as I did last year.
4. 最上級
1. el / la más + adjetivo + de（〜の中で一番…だ / the most… in / the -est）
例文
- Es el puerto más difícil de la Vuelta.
🇯🇵 ブエルタで一番難しい峠です。
🇬🇧 It’s the hardest climb in the Vuelta. - Es la ciudad más bonita que he visitado.
🇯🇵 今まで訪れた中で一番きれいな街です。
🇬🇧 It’s the most beautiful city I’ve ever visited.
2. adjetivo + -ísimo（とても〜（絶対最上級） / extremely / really）
例文
- La paella estaba buenísima.
🇯🇵 パエリアはものすごくおいしかった。
🇬🇧 The paella was really delicious. - Es un libro interesantísimo.
🇯🇵 ものすごく面白い本です。
🇬🇧 It’s an extremely interesting book.
💡 「〜の中で」は de
英語は in the world と in を使いますが、スペイン語は de：el más alto del mundo（世界で一番高い）。
English “in” becomes “de”: “the tallest in the world” = “el más alto del mundo”.
まとめ
比較は más / menos… que、同等は tan… como / tanto… como、最上級は el más… de。数字の前は de、「より良い」は mejor、を忘れずに。
DELEの会話では「都会と田舎、どちらに住みたい？」のような比較の質問がよく出ます。「El campo es más tranquilo que la ciudad, pero…」と答える練習をしておきましょう。
